Middle School Social Skills Special Education Teacher – 1.0 FTE

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Will be responsible for developing lesson plans for social skills, conducting classroom instruction, and monitoring progress toward goals. Responsible for communicating student progress with parents/guardians and reporting student performance for local and state records.
  • The Middle School operates in an 8-period day.  There is one period scheduled for prep and another period scheduled for progress monitoring of student IEP goals.
  • Teachers will have access to collaborate with the SEAT coordinator as well as the Student Success Coordinator.
  • Small caseloads

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree required.
  • Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification required.
