Location: Maple Grove, MN
Job Description: Parnassus Preparatory School is seeking an enthusiastic middle school English teacher with a love of poetry, Shakespeare, and classic novels for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a full-time position (1.00 FTE).
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Required: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Appropriate Minnesota teaching license (or willingness to obtain licensure)
- Experience teaching is preferred, but not required
- Passion for great literature
- Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
- Ability and willingness to teach the classical trivium and sequence model as defined by the school
- Conviction in the values of a rigorous liberal arts education
- Ability to maintain an orderly classroom
