Middle School Basketball Coach

Location:
Mariner/Central Middle School

Salary Rate/Rate of Pay: $2,133 per season (Strong preference given to coaches that are able to coach both boys and girls seasons.)

Start Date/Season Length:
November through end of February
Girls season tentatively scheduled to run November 4th – December 16th. 
Boys season tentatively scheduled to run January 6th – February 17th.
Practices will run from 4 pm to 5:30 pm M-Th
Game schedule to be determined 

Closing Date:
Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Positions Summary:
Duties of the MS basketball coach include determining the goals and purpose of the program, developing practice plans, discussing line ups and working with student athletes to improve their skills. We are looking for someone who loves the sport of basketball and working with student athletes to improve in their sport and gain life experiences along the way.
