Full Time Middle School and/or High School Science Teacher (with or without AG) for 2025-2026 - Swanville School

Description

Swanville Public Schools is seeking a FULL TIME combination science and agriculture teacher (schedule allows flexibility based upon applicant's skills/licenses). ** Any science licenses will be considered.** This position begins in the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should have the ability to work as a team player in planning and teaching to create a positive learning environment, as well as possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Additionally, the ability to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in agricultural science and related subjects preferred. (Teach courses such as animal science, plant science, agribusiness, agricultural mechanics, and environmental science.) Supervise and guide students in hands-on agricultural activities, including laboratory work, fieldwork, and school farm projects.Support  FFA programs, including coordinating events, competitions, and leadership opportunities.

Swanville School District #486 is located in Morrison County, with part of the district in Todd County, 15 miles west of Little Falls, 12 miles east of Long Prairie, and 25 miles north of Albany. We operate a single PK-12 School with a full range of services from preschool to 12th grade, including many extra-curricular activities. High School students are also able to take classes from colleges through interactive television or online.
