Job Title: Lunchroom Supervisor
Location: North Elementary School
Hours: 2 hours per student contact day (11:15 AM – 1:15 PM), subject to change on early release days.

Job Summary:
North Elementary School is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students in grades 2-4 during lunch hours. The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining order, assisting students with lunchtime routines, ensuring cleanliness, and fostering positive student behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch periods, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
• Monitor and manage student behavior, addressing any issues in alignment with school expectations.
• Assist students in wiping tables and maintaining a clean lunchroom space.
• Encourage positive social interactions among students.
• Respond to minor student needs and concerns, providing appropriate support.
• Communicate any concerns regarding student behavior or safety to the appropriate staff.
• Follow all school policies and procedures regarding student supervision and safety.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children (preferably in a school setting).
• Ability to manage groups of students and maintain a positive lunchroom atmosphere.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to handle minor conflicts and support positive behavior management techniques.

Hours:
11:15 AM – 1:15 PM on most school days. Hours may vary on early release days.
