NRHEG Elementary is hiring a Long Term Substitute classroom teacher.  This teacher will be responsible for an Elementary classroom starting 9/30/24 through 12/20/24.

 Job Description

• Teach lessons aligned with school and district goals and standards using various techniques, methods, and principles appropriate for the age and ability of students
• Create a safe learning environment with strong behavior management strategies to ensure an effective learning experience for all.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies.  Work with colleagues to problem solve student academic or behavior concerns.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees as needed for the district.
• Demonstrate a willingness to examine and reflect on your practice and implement change when appropriate.
• Incorporate technology in instruction to enhance and personalize student learning.
• Create and use assessments to monitor student progress towards standards identified within the grade level.
• Communicate student progress to all stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and other district personnel.
• Candidate will hold a valid Minnesota teaching license.
