We offer an early learning center for pre-school and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum. We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory and experiential learning opportunities. Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students. A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center, providing students opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry.

Job Description:                    
Performs professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. This position will require a person to be able to fill in for any teacher in the building and receive direction from building administration as to daily job tasks and responsibilities.

This position will cover:
Washington Learning Center (Pre-K – Kindergarten)
Jefferson Elementary (Grades 1-4)
New Ulm Middle School (Grades 5-8)
New Ulm High School (Grades 9-12)

Salary:                                               
Approved Long Term Substitute teachers are paid off of the base salary in the Teacher master agreement at the start of their assignment.
 
Qualifications:                       
Current MN Teacher license required
