Position:  Long-Term Substitute Licensed Care Specialist
Location:  Centennial High School (West Campus)
Start Date:  December 9, 2024
End Date:  March 17, 2025
Hours:  6.75 hours/day – 7:45 am to 3:00 pm
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Must be a licensed nurse (LPN or RN) with the State of Minnesota.
-Must be BLS/CPR certified.
-Ability to lift/move/push/pull as required by the assignment.
-Demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
-Willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
-Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
-Must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.
-Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
 
Responsibilities:
Direct Care, Medication Administration, Maintenance and updating of Student Health Files/Immunizations, Health Screenings, Implementation of Procedures under the direction/delegation of the Licensed School Nurse.
 
WAGES: Consistent with the current Paraprofessional contract.  Starting at $28.75/hour.
