Position Title:  Substitute Health Assistant

Location:  Annandale Elementary School

Immediate Supervisor:  Building Principal 

Schedule:  M-F 7:45 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
Temporary position beginning as soon as possible and ending June 5, 2025

Salary Range:  $17.05-23.85, based on experience
Position qualifies for Public Employees Retirement Pension Program
ISD 876 offers health and welfare benefits to employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week (130 hours per month average over a 9 month period). Due to the temporary nature of this position it will not qualify for benefits.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Health Assistant is responsible for performing health related tasks and duties as delegated by the Licensed School Nurse and Building Principal.  Duties include providing first aid/emergency care to students, administering medications, performing medical treatments, maintaining health records, assisting with screening/clinics, assisting students with bodily accidents and communicating with parents/guardians.
