Position Overview:
Social Worker Long Term Substitute
Hours/Day: 8 
Compensation/benefits: Burnsville Education Association 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Identify, mobilize and coordinate family, school and community resources to enable each child to receive maximum benefit from his/her educational program.

License / Education Requirements:

  • Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or equivalent. Licensed by the MN Department of Education as a School Social Worker. Experience working cross-culturally and/or commitment to work toward improving one’s own cultural competence, i.e., valuing difference/diversity, recognizing personal limitations and one’s skills and expertise, and having the desire to learn in these areas.
