Hutchinson Public Schools Activities Department is seeking a Long-term Girls Hockey Substitute Head Coach for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season. 

The Girls Hockey Head Coach will carry out the Purpose Statement and the objectives of the program. This position will instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. At the same time, the student shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of pride of accomplishment and self-confidence.  

Schedule:

  • 3 hours per day

Qualifications:

  • All candidates for Head Coaching Positions must either have a coaching license, completed the MSHSL Head Coaches Course, or are able to complete the MSHSL Head Coaches Course before their season begins
  • Prefer Minnesota teaching and coaching certification.
  • Prefer employment as a teacher in the Hutchinson School District.
  • Previous coaching experience in assigned sport is desirable.
  • Has knowledge and background in the assigned sport

 Nominal Stipend:

  • The stipend range for this position is $5,186.00 – $6,176.00. Compensation will be prorated and is dependent upon education and experience.
