Responsibilities:Â
Under the direction of the Director of Learning and Teaching, the Literacy Coordinator is a literacy specialist with expertise in working with educators as adult learners. They are under the direction of the Director of Learning and Teaching of Winona Area Public Schools and are supported by the Regional Literacy Network Lead. The Literacy Coordinator will support WAPS’ implementation of the READ Act legislation in Early Childhood through Grade 12 with the goal of accelerating literary success for all WAPS students.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates will hold a teaching license issued by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Â
Master’s degree in reading, English language development, special education, or related field.
LETRS or OL&LA Certification or Certified Facilitator. Â
