Salary/Hourly Rate:Â Paraprofessional Class V: $18.83 or above depending on qualifications

Job Summary:
XinXing intervention paraprofessionals work with individual and small groups of students who need extra learning support for Chinese language and Chinese math, both inside the classroom and in pull-out learning spaces. They collaborate closely with the classroom teacher to develop instructional plans based on individual student needs, assess and record student progress toward goals, and provide support for classroom instruction.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- speak and write standard Mandarin Chinese;
- speak and write standard English;
- experience working with children in an academic setting;
- ability to work in a supportive relationship with teachers and other school staff;
- abiltiy to work effectively with diverse groups of student, parents, and staff;
- effective behavioral management skills;
- computer technology skills preferred.
