We are seeking a 1.0 FTE High School (9-12) Language Arts Teacher who is passionate about making a difference. The current position has the opportunity to teach mostly college courses on the Spectrum campus, only high school courses, or a combination of college and high school courses. College courses would consist of literature, communications, and composition.

Description

Spectrum High School is a college prep public school located in Elk River, MN with a robust concurrent enrollment program known as C@SH (College at Spectrum High). Over their high school career, Spectrum students have the opportunity to complete the MN Transfer Curriculum or an AA degree while remaining entirely on their high school campus. Approximately 1/4 of Spectrum students graduate with their AA degree. Spectrum currently partners with four colleges and is leading the way in excellence in education.

We are seeking a 1.0 FTE High School (9-12) Language Arts Teacher who is passionate about making a difference. The current position has the opportunity to teach mostly college courses on the Spectrum campus, only high school courses, or a combination of college and high school courses. College courses would consist of literature, communications, and composition. A masters degree in language arts, a masters degree in any area plus 18 credits in the field, or a masters degree and a willingness to complete 18 credits in the field required. Tuition reimbursement available for masters work.
