Proctor Schools’ Kids’ Zone Program has openings for Kids’ Zone Aides up to 14 hours per week for the 2024-2025 school year. Requirements include experience working with children and possess excellent communication and computer skills and a current Minnesota Criminal Background Check if over the age of 18.

Kids’ Zone Aides – Bay View & Pike Lake Elementary Schools:Â
- Assist the site manager with setting goals and program implementationÂ
- Work directly with and supervises students in planned activities
- Help to teach and encourage appropriate social skillsÂ
- Assist the site manager in discipline policies and proceduresÂ
- Set a good example in attitude, actions, and speech for childrenÂ
- Maintains an organized and neat environment by cleaning and storing supplies appropriatelyÂ
- Set up computer, supplies, and activities for childrenÂ
- Assist the site manager in student safety and well-beingÂ
- Promote good parent communicationÂ
- Communicates with the site manager about issues regarding parents, students, or other staff
