Kids’ Zone Job Description

Proctor Schools’ Kids’ Zone Program has openings for Kids’ Zone Aides up to 14 hours per week for the 2024-2025 school year. Requirements include experience working with children and possess excellent communication and computer skills and a current Minnesota Criminal Background Check if over the age of 18.

Job Description:

Kids’ Zone Aides – Bay View & Pike Lake Elementary Schools: 

1. Assist the site manager with setting goals and program implementation 
2. Work directly with and supervises students in planned activities
3. Help to teach and encourage appropriate social skills 
4. Assist the site manager in discipline policies and procedures 
5. Set a good example in attitude, actions, and speech for children 
6. Maintains an organized and neat environment by cleaning and storing supplies appropriately 
7. Set up computer, supplies, and activities for children 
8. Assist the site manager in student safety and well-being 
9. Promote good parent communication 
10. Communicates with the site manager about issues regarding parents, students, or other staff
