Description:
Oversee daily practice and weekly competition schedules. Provide bus supervision for all out-of-town competitions, and locker room supervision throughout the season. Build quality relationships with middle school youth (Grades 7 and 8) and maintain cooperative partnerships with paid and volunteer coaches. Build a strong communication network with program staff, parents, and community. Provide inventory management of all supplies, equipment, and uniforms and report competition scores to the Owatonna Middle School Activities Coordinator. A minimum of two Asssistant Coach positions available. Additional positions will be added as student participation requires.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Two or four-year degree in an education related field preferred. Football coaching experience and knowledge, specifically skill development. Excellent inter/intra-personal skills. Experience with youth leadership and athletic fundamental skill development highly desired. Consistent and reliable attendance. Strong technology skills beneficial.
Schedule:
August 21, 2023 – October 17, 2023 / Practice & Game Schedule / Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate:
$1,250 per season
