Duty Days Per Year: 170-220 pro-rated from start date for 2023-24.

Hours Per Day: Hours alternate each week.  6:00am-9:00am one week, 7:00am-9:00am next week.

Salary: $16.67/hour and up, depending on qualifications and according to the Unaffiliated Work Agreement

Supervisor of Position:  Chris Spindler-Schlottman, Kids Connection Program Manager

Qualifications:  We are looking for a team-oriented individual who is comfortable and experienced in working with students of challenging behaviors.

  • Skilled in positive behavior intervention
  • 18 years of age or older, required.
  • Training and experience related to child development, child guidance, cultural dynamics, communication, and activities is desired.
  • Effective communication skills, good interpersonal skills with adults and children.
  • Help to establish a physical environment that encourages all children to assume responsibility for developing their social, physical and intellectual skills.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of creative and research based procedures for enabling special needs children to thrive at Kids Connection.        
  • First Aid and CPR Certification, preferred.
  • CPI Certification, preferred
