Description
Position: K-5 Nonpublic School Title I Teacher St. Peter
Work Schedule: Student contact days, approximately 4 hours/week; based on available funding and student needs
Start Date: November 2024
End Date: May 2025 (end date based on available funding)
Pay: $35 per hour

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota Elementary Teaching License (K-6)
- Knowledge of best practices in reading, math, and progress monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality reading and math instruction to individuals or small groups
- Organized – documentation, paperwork, compliance activities
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to travel to a nonpublic school (or schools) within the ISD 622 boundary
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience tutoring students in a nonpublic elementary school setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-person K-5 individual or small group instruction on student contact days at nonpublic elementary schools
- Supplemental reading and/or math
- Progress monitoring to guide instruction
- Documentation for Title I compliance
- Support one or more ISD 622 Nonpublic schools
- Communicate with ISD 622 Title I staff and nonpublic staff (principal, teachers, parents) about student progress
