Description
Red Lake County Central High School is seeking an innovative JH Math teacher in a 1.0 FTE position for school year 2025-26. RLCC High School is located in Oklee, MN, 30 miles south of Thief River Falls, MN and provides quality programming in a “family-like atmosphere” to approximately 175 students in grades 7-12. RLCC High School is a 1:1 educational environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide an educational atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, physical and psychological growth
- Implement instructional activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences
- Identify, select and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs
- Assist in assessing changing curricular needs and offers plans for improvement
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis
- Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
Outstanding candidates will have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to work collaboratively with students, parents/guardians, staff and administration
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
- Strong pedagogy and intimate knowledge of the Minnesota Math Standards

Required Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license
