Position Overview

Description: Paraprofessional Supervisory
Job Summary:  This is a 3.5 hour per day (4 hour work day) position at Westwood School.  The position requires a person with strong collaborative and communication skills, is technology savvy, is self-directed but a team player, is culturally aware, and responsible.  The successful candidate will support work with supervison of students during the day, office duties such as: attendance, scheduling, athletic registration and receptionist in office.  

Qualifications: Candidate must be able to handle confidential information, be able to work with middle aged students in a positive way to help students feel welcomed and a sense of belonging, be able to perform tasks proficiently while handling frequent interruptions, multi-task, and possess good communication skills.  Candidate must have excellent customer service skills.  Personal skills must include a professional, friendly, positive, and cooperative work style and the ability to work with many types of people in various circumstances.  

We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues and an enthusiasm to work with students.  Preferred candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning.
