East Grand Forks School District is seeking applicants for a Industrial Tech./Woodshop/STEM Instructor
This position is 1.0 FTE shared between the Senior High and Middle School.
East Grand Forks, MN is a city with a population of approximately 8,500 and located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1900 students as well as a thriving preschool program. The district has four separate school buildings housing grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12

Qualifications:
Preference given to applicants with a MN teaching license or ability to obtain a MN teaching license.

Reporting Relationship:
The Industrial Tech./Woodshop/Tech Instructor reports directly to the Building Principal
Basic Function of the Position:
The Industrial Tech./Woodshop/Tech Instructor will provide instruction to students relating to  the principles and practices of industrial technology, woodworking and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The instructor will be expected to develop and deliver lessons which will provide students with hands-on skills in areas such as woodworking and technological. The instructor will be expected to cultivate a safe, productive learning environment in the workshop and classroom.
