Student success in academics, fine arts, and athletics are reasons students and families come to New Ulm Public Schools.  

We offer an early learning center for preschool and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4; focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities, and core curriculum.  We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8; focused on advisory, exploratory, and experiential learning opportunities.  Our high school is for grades 9-12; offering college, vocational, and work-ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students.  A Career Technical Education Center (CTE) provides students with opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers, and cabinetry.                

Available Position – One Act Play Advisor at High School (Grades 9 – 12)

New Ulm High School, 1600 Oak Street, New Ulm, MN

Job Summary:  
Director oversees all theatrical aspects from staging the play, casting, costumes, rehearsals, and performances. Director als works closely with school administration, staff, parents, and community members to create a positive experience for the students.

Qualifications:  
Experience and ability to work with high school age students, demonstrate knowledge and expertise in the area of theater; ability and willingness to work with students, faculty, parents, and community members.

Salary/Wage: 
Based on Master Teacher Agreement, Classification pay scale C;9
