Hispanic Outreach Liaison

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual skills required. Spanish Required

  • Minimum high school diploma; preferably a 2- or 4-year degree, 60 credits of study at a higher education institution, or a score of 460 or higher on the ParaPro assessment.

  • Ability to work effectively with students and staff, demonstrating a cooperative working style and strong organizational skills.

Job Summary:

  • Foster positive relationships with Hispanic families to support student achievement.

General Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate supplemental state programs.

  • Translate documents for the district.

  • Serve as the district interpreter

  • Conduct home visits and contacts as needed.

  • Coordinate necessary outside services.

  • Monitor students to support district-wide behavioral expectations.

  • Attend meetings and training sessions as requested.

  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

  • Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.

Reports To:

  • Building Principal

 

The position is being poised as a part-time position with the possibility of being full-time with the right candidate.
