Description
East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking applicants for an immediate full-time 9-12 (1.0 FTE) Special Education Instructor for the remainder of the 2023-24Â school year and beyond. Applicants must have or be eligible to obtain a MN teaching license qualified to teach special education. Preference may be given to applicants licensed in multiple areas including SLD, DCD, EBD, LD, ASD or a combination of these licenses. Other preferred qualifications include previous related experience and knowledge of special education; ability to communicate and connect with students and families; team building skills; the ability to collaborate with staff; and possessing positive interpersonal skills. Various coaching and extra-curricular positions are also available.

East Grand Forks, MN is a city with a population of approximately 8,500 and located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota. It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College. The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1900 students and there are four separate school buildings housing grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.Â
