Position Title:  Homebound Teacher (Long Term Sub)
Department/Building:  Brainerd High School
Reports to: Building Principal
Assignment: Jan 15, 2025 – March 31, 2025
Hours: 8 per day, Monday through Friday
Salary Range:  $18.00- $31.89 per hour 
Overtime Exempt
ESST Eligible

JOB SUMMARY:
This position for a teacher, paid hourly, working directly with a high school student 5-10 hours a week for home bound instruction. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Instructs assigned subjects as designated
  • Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs and abilities of the students
  • Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals
  • Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional strategies
  • Maintains accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Current Minnesota Teacher certification/licensure
