Health Teacher

Duties

• Focus on knowing each student by name, strength, interest and need to provide a personalized student learning experience
• Able to approach learning from a student centered platform
• Set goals, learn individually and collaboratively, implement new learning, and monitor, assist, and adjust practice

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Teaching experience and strong competency in the area of Health
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues
• Commitment to lifelong learning

Qualifications

• Minnesota Health 9-12 Teaching License
• Highly effective interpersonal skills
• Ability to work harmoniously with a wide range of students, families, and staff members
• Commitment to equitable education of all students
• Creative Planning and Organizational Skills
• Experience working with diverse learners

Salary and Benefits

• FTE = .25
• DCEA Master Agreement
• Determined by teacher salary schedule
