Edina Public Schools is accepting applications for Health Services Associates. This position is responsible for observing students, reporting concerns, and performing delegated technical skills and administrative tasks. The Health Services Associate will be responsible for admnistering first aid, emergency, and episodic care according to the Health Services Standards of Care, district policies, and district procedures. 

POSITION: 
Health Services Associate (HSA) Substitute

LOCATION: 
Elementary, Middle School, and High School Levels

HOURS PER DAY: 
6-7 hours per day depending on building assignment

DAILY SCHEDULE: 
Varies, M-F

DAYS PER YEAR:
170 (9-month position) 

RATE OF PAY: 
The wage for this position is $20.98 per hour for candidates without a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Department of Nursing and $28.78 per hour for candidates with a Registered Nurse License through the Minnesota Department of Nursing

BENEFITS: 
This is a temporary/casual position. Eligible employees will participate in the state’s largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.

EXPERIENCE:
Required:
– CPR & First Aid Licenses
– High School Diploma

Preferred:
-Registered Nurse, License Practical Nurse, or Certified Nursing Assistant
