ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Â
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following fundamental duties:
Â
- Manage, maintain and monitor all district health, safety and security databases and systems.
- Monitors the compliance of health and safety inspections throughout the district.
- Organizes and coordinates service and repairs related to any systems issues, equipment replacements and any compliance inspection deficiency follow up.
- Communicates the results of audits, inspections and testing results for health and safety programs to designated district platforms as well as all appropriate school leadership and district staff.
- Coordinates all aspects of a project by working independently with district staff to coordinate the compliance of inspection results based on completion timeline and within scope.
- Facilitates any necessary health, safety and security training/education to user groups as directed by manager.
- Participates on various teams for health and security construction/facilities projects.
- Â Responsible for monitoring the workflow of the Incident IQ ticketing system for employees, parents and work orders related to health, safety and security.
- Â Responsible for district wide security card access for all new hires, employee status changes, parent fobs for before and after school programs and any contractors.
- Creates and tracks all purchase orders related to health, safety and security.
- Analyzes video surveillance and supports investigations for school insurance inquiries, accident and injury reporting as directed by manager.
- Other duties as assigned by the Health, Safety and Security Manager.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Specific training or job experience required before appointment)
Â
- Ability to administer Health, Safety and Security systems including databases and schedules.
- Knowledge of school safety and security management preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent computer and system skills.
- Ability to learn and use Google Suite (docs, forms, sheets, slides) on a daily basis.
- Considerable skill and experience with data management, recordkeeping, research, analysis and reporting.
- Ability to maintain effective and professional working relationships with vendors and staff.
- Ability to contribute to, and be part of, a team-centered, professional atmosphere that supports the academic mission of the District.
Schedule:
- 8 hours per day
- 261Â days a year (includes 12 paid holidays)

Pay Range/Classification:Â
- $21.88Â – $25.99Â per hour (subject to change with the completion of the 2023-2025Â LEAF contract)
- Position classified B-2-3
