Health Careers Teacher (.25 FTE)

Qualifications/Experience:
Minnesota secondary Health teaching license required. 
Successful background check required.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught, thorough knowledge of elementary, special education principles, practices and procedures; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching, thorough knowledge of District rules, regulations and procedures; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents. 

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. 

Specific Tasks:
Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate, and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships.
