Head Volleyball Coach

START:  August 2023

HOURS:  Vary based upon practice time and game schedule and times.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Develop student-athletes of character through the sport of Volleyball, instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for practices and games. Assist with games, practices, and the supervision of athletes in the Volleyball program.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Complete MSHSL Head Coaching Course and subsequent modules before August 14th and have previous experience working with high school-age students. A strong background in Volleyball as a participant and/or coach is required. Must have good communication and organizational skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, parents, community members, and students. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.

• Experience coaching education based athletics required
• MNHCC or Coaching License required
• Licensed teacher preferred

  SALARY:  $7,802 for the season
