Detroit Lakes Public Schools is accepting applications for individuals with related experience for a position opening as Head Custodian at Roosevelt Elementary School. This position provides direction to assigned building custodial staff and oversees/performs the maintenance and operations of school building HVAC, plumbing, & electrical systems, and janitorial services.

Minimum Education Requirements: AAS degree in related field or equivalent knowledge or experience preferred.

Experience Preferred:

•         Prior knowledge or experience in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

•         Working knowledge of computer operations including Microsoft Word & Excel and building management programs.

Special Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, Licensure Required:

•         Minnesota Special or Class C boiler license required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire

Wage/Benefits:  $24.00  per hour – Full-time/year round position.
                               Full benefit package including: Health/Life/LTD insurance, vacation/holiday pay, public retirement plan, and more.
