HEAD COOK

Position Description:

• Delano High School has an opening for a head cook.
• Prepares meals according to cycle menus
• Directs activities of cooks in preparation, serving and clean-up of schools meals to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and efficient meal preparation.

Position Requirements:

• Quantity cooking experience preferred
• Computer Skills
• Time Management Skills
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs. 
• Ability to work in hot/cold kitchen. 

Licensure Requirements:  Must have a current Certified Food Protection Manager license . 

Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Friday during the school year.  183 working days/year.
