Position:  Head Coach – Cross Country
Work Schedule:  3:00 pm to varies
Start Date:  ASAP
Season Dates:  August 11, 2025 – November 1, 2025
Season Duration:  15 weeks

Duties:  Oversee all aspects of the Centennial High School Boys’ and Girls Cross Country program including but not limited to setting up practices, meets, and schedules for the program; supervision of athletes at practices and meets; care and maintenance of program equipment; arranging team transportation; and schedule regular meetings with other coaches in the program to evaluate goals of the overall program.  Must be able to adjust work schedule for practices and games. 
 
Preferences:  A BA/BS Degree and MN Teacher License with coaching certificate highly preferred. 
 
Qualifications:  A strong background in high school, collegiate, and/or club cross country and/or track and field as a participant and coach is required.  Strong work ethic and dedication to furthering the benefits of participation in co-curricular activities.  Leadership skills including but not limited to organization, vision, motivation, and conflict resolution.  Ability to work collaboratively with student athletes, parents, staff, and community.  
 
Salary:  $6,550 per Schedule B
