Head Boys Tennis Coach

POSITION:  Head Boys Tennis Coach

START:  March 2025

HOURS:  Vary based on practice time and match times.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  To carry out the aims and objectives of the tennis program; develop student-athletes of character through the sport of tennis, instruct athletes in individual and team fundamentals, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for practices and meets. Assist with scheduling matches and practices, and supervision of athletes in the tennis program.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Complete MSHSL Head Coaching Course and subsequent modules before March 14th and have previous experience working with high school-age students. A strong background in tennis as a participant and/or coach is required. Must have good communication and organizational skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, parents, community members, and students. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.

SALARY:  $5,735 for the season
