Primary Responsibilities
Duties of this job include, but are not limited to:
- all assigned classroom duties and responsibilities, which will include: implementation of curriculum, assessing student progress, aligning assessment w/ instruction, responding to students w/ personalized learning opportunities, communicating with parents, managing the classroom, and working collaboratively with colleagues while functioning as a member of the Park Terrace staff.Â
Preferences
We strongly prefer candidates who have exhibited excellence in collaboration with colleagues and an enthusiasm to work with students. Preferred candidates will also have a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning as evidenced by graduate-level work or an earned degree, as well as participation in professional organization conferences or seminars related to the content area.

Qualifications
Â
The successful candidate must have earned a B.A. or B.S. degree and current Minnesota State Licensure in Elementary Education. Additional demonstrated qualifications include: commitment to the equitable education of all students; creative planning and organizational skills, and highly effective interpersonal skills. Previous experience working with elementary level students using differentiation, guided reading, and technology skills preferred.  Prefer candidate with experience working with diverse learners.
Licensing Requirements
Current Minnesota Elementary Education license (K-6 or 1-6) or eligibility is required.
