Full time Homebound Instructor

Job Summary:  Under the direction of district administrators and Special Eduation Staff, the Homebound Instructor is responsible for developing lesson plans to present district curriculum in assigned instructional subjects; instructing students using lesson plans and instructional material; and evaluating and assessing student progress against instructional outcomes and objectives. Teachers also participate and collaborate with other instructional professionals, administrators, parents, counselors, and other district personnel concerning student needs, issues and district learning initiatives.

Qualifications:  Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.  Certified teaching certificate from the State of MN in the required subject area. Wiling to obtain an OFP (Out of Field Placement) for Special Education.

Working Conditions:  Full time position.  Provide homebound instruction to student in home setting.
