POSITION: Food Service: Kitchen Helper, Part-time(2 positions, hours vary)
LOCATION: TCU High School

POSITION DETAILS:
? Student contact days plus various workshop days throughout the year
? We are looking for individuals passionate about preparing and serving our students fresh, high-quality

? The Kitchen Helper performs various duties, including but not limited to, prepping food, recording
items prepared, set up, service, clean up, and sanitation of the food service operation. Provides
high-quality standards for safety/sanitation and meal quality. This position may also operate the point
of sale system for daily meal service and a la carte program.
? Reports to the Site Lead Cook and Food Service Director
SALARY: Per the food service contract; $15.95 per hour
DATE OF POSTING: July 15, 2024
QUALIFICATIONS:
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Minnesota Food Protection Manager Certificate, preferred but not required
? Completion of USDA Professional Standards required hours
REQUIREMENTS:
? Demonstrated pantry skills.
? Foodservice experience desired, but not required. Will train the right candidate
? Knowledge of the U.S.D.A. School Lunch and School Breakfast Program
? Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment
? Ability to bend, twist and lift up to 40 pounds on a continuous basis
? Ability to maintain kitchen facilities to program requirements
? Ability to work effectively in a team setting and create an inviting and welcoming environment
? Participate in ongoing professional training
