FHS Hall Supervision/ Security Paraprofessional

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Principal responsible for providing daily security for the school building and property and ensures the safety and security of students, staff, building and grounds. This position patrols school property and alerts Administration of all safety and security concerns. The Security Monitor responds to emergencies, intervenes in interpersonal conflicts, and directs students and staff in crisis situations. To assist in area’s such as; office, cafeteria, hallways, parking lot and bus area as assigned. Please see attached job description for detailed list of job functions and duties.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma

Experience in training and supervising adolescents strongly preferred
Ability to physically intervene in conflict situations with students
Ability to stand and/or walk 70% of the day, inside and outside in all weather conditions
