Job Description:
The Family Engagement Ambassador serves as a positive connector between the school, families, and the broader community. In a culturally rich and diverse environment, this position champions the cultural wealth of families, fostering strong partnerships that enhance student success and build a sense of belonging for all. The ambassador helps in the creation and implementation of programming to promote equitable access, meaningful family engagement, and community collaboration. Â

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working with elementary age students.
- Computer skills preferred.
- Flexibility and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a cooperative team member.
- Positive rapport with children and the broader school community.
- Experience working with diverse families in educational or community settings. Â
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Â
- Familiarity with community resources and services. Â
- Regular on time attendance is required with the flexibility to work some evenings or weekends.
