Facility Use Specialist

Summary of Duties: 
The Facilities Use Specialist for the Community Education Department conducts the processes necessary to coordinate use of District 77 facilities.  Manages the implementation of school board policy, procedures and centralized scheduling and billing systems enabling public  use of indoor and outdoor District facilities.   Providing responsive customer service and building and maintaining a positive working relationship with user groups and individuals through effective communication.  Promoting a positive image of Mankato Area Public Schools to the tax paying community.

Qualifications Required: 

• Experience in facility or event scheduling, event planning or related fields.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission, beliefs and strategic vision of Mankato Area Public Schools.
• Demonstrated technical experience with computer systems, databases, reporting tools and accounting and software applications.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to assume initiative, organize and prioritize work.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Other Information:
This is a Non-affiliated position with Category II benefits.

Rate of Pay:
$26.00 per hour
