School Year Assistant Lead, Out of School Time Programs,

Salary Range:  
Hourly range of pay: starting pay of $18.50 per hour.
Paid holidays and other benefits of position detailed in attached working agreement.

Start Date:  
2023-2024 School Year

5/17/24-Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found. 

Work Week:  
We are now hiring program assistants to support our 2023-2024 school year Out of School Time programs at elementary schools throughout the WBL Area School District.  Start and end times will vary, but could run before school, from 6:15 am to 8:45 am and/or after school, from 1:45 pm to 6 pm. Program operates on most non school days.

Student Level:
Pre-K through Elementary 

Position Summary:
Extended Day Elementary programs provide enrichment and recreation opportunities for children and youth with diverse interests, talents, and perspectives. This position performs intermediate human support work assisting in planning, writing and implementation of youth activities. Responsibilities also include supporting student growth, group management, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Out of School Time Site Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:
HS diploma or GED for staff over 18 years of age
Minimal experience working with school aged children

Special Requirements:
At least 16 years old
Certified in First Aid/CPR within 90 days of hire
Department of Human Services training upon hire
