Extended Day Program Assistant Substitute – 2024-2025 School Year

Salary Range:  
Hourly rate of pay: $18.50
(Contract is under negotiation)

ASAP

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Work Week:  
We are looking to fill  vacancies for our Extended Day school year programs, which are open from 6:30am to 8:00am and 2:00pm-5:30pm weekdays for the duration of the school year. Work schedules can be flexible and tailored to accommodate other positions or course schedules.

Student Level:
Elementary 

Position Summary:
The Extended Day programs provide enrichment opportunities for youth with diverse interests, talents, and perspectives.  This position performs intermediate human support work assisting in planning, writing and implementation of youth activities. Responsibilities also include supporting student growth, group management, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the Out of School Time Site Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:
High school Diploma or GED
Minimal experience working with school aged children

Special Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Department of Human Services training upon hire
