Position: Enrollment Center Specialist
Work Schedule: 12 months, 261 Contract Days, Mon-Fri, Business Hours
Start Date: ASAP:Â
Pay: $45,000 – $60,000 (DOQ)
Benefits: Per Non-Unit Contract, Health, Vision, Life, Disability, Legal and Dental Insurance; Vacation and Sick Time Off per the Non-Unit Contract.
Summary:
The Enrollment Center Specialist will be responsible for supporting the overall management of student enrollment in ISD 622. The Specialist will ensure that ISD 622 is meeting state guidelines regarding enrollment as well as optimal District funding and revenue.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, staff, and administration. This includes responding to phone, fax, mail, and email requests in a prompt and accurate manner.Â
- Ensure welcoming and orderly atmosphere for incoming families, students and DEC visitors.
- Assist families with the student registration process
- Manage enrollment email account and create templates for frequently asked questions
- Coordinate student registration, working closely with building clerical and counseling staff as well as Transportation and Student Services department staff
- Maintain ongoing communication with buildings impacted by incoming or outgoing students
- Work closely with staff in the Information Services department to ensure student data is maintained accurately in the District’s student information system
- Responsible for maintaining and updating necessary data entry into the District’s student information system to reflect most current and up-to-date information
- Maintain spreadsheets for all schools’ open and maximum enrollments as well as pending enrollments for the upcoming school year
- Maintain accurate Intra-District Transfer (IDT) and Open Enrollment (OE) files
- Receive and process the legal requirements and corresponding documents needed for enrollment
- Assist as back-up support for the Welcome Desk receptionist, Information Services Clerk, and Enrollment Systems Manager
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experienceÂ
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills including word processing, database, and spreadsheet programsÂ
- Highly organized and flexible
- Skilled in prioritizing tasks, multi-tasking, and record-keeping
- Self-motivated with the ability to function with minimal supervisionÂ
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience working in a K-12 environment
- Prior experience working with student information systems such as Campus
- Bilingual language experience (pref: Hmong/Somali/Karen/Spanish)
