Elementary Physical Education Teacher
We currently have a full time (1.0 FTE) physical education teacher position at C.E. Jacobson Elementary working with students in K-6th grade to begin the 2023-24 school year. The appropriate four-year degree with a license from the Minnesota Department of Education is required. Applicants with physical education licensure are encouraged to apply. Experience with teaching PE and working with elementary students is preferred. Hours will be typical school days, aligned with the Teacher Master Agreement. Salary is based upon experience/qualifications.

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement physical education programming for K-6th grade students
• Teaching physical fitness, sports, skill-based instruction
• Working with grade level teachers to create potential cross-curricular units
• Monitoring inventory and working on supply sourcing
• Creative planning and working with teams to support the developmental needs of students
• Other job-related duties as assigned
