- Plan and implement engaging lessons that align with state standards and focus on the core subjects, including STEM integration.
- Foster a classroom environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of each student.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Incorporate hands-on learning activities and projects that inspire students to explore and develop problem-solving skills.
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of all students.
- Maintain a positive and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development and stay current with educational trends, particularly in STEM education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Valid MN teaching certification for elementary education.
- Previous experience in teaching or working with young learners is preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to fostering a love for learning and a growth mindset in students.
- Passion for integrating STEM principles into everyday lessons.
