Applications are being taken for an educational assistant at Foley Intermediate School. Educational assistants work directly under the supervision of a special education teacher and/or the school principal. Successful applicants will supervise and work with students with physical, intellectual, and/or behavioral disabilities or will work with all students in a behavior support role.
An A.A. degree, at least two years of study at an institution of higher education (a minimum of 60 semester credits), or a passing score on the ParaPro assessment. Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting and experience working with children with disabilities is preferred.
Salary range is from $19.58-$21.17 per hour. For more information please see the EA contract.
