ECFE Teaching Substitute: Mid-State Education District ECFE Program
Mid-State Education District has current openings for Early Childhood Family Education substitute teachers. Includes evening
hours. Possible work sites include Pierz, Royalton, Swanville, and Upsala. Candidates must hold a MN Teaching License,
Parent and Family Educator, Parent Educator, or Pre-Primary license preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and instruct with developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for
parents of children ages birth to 5 years old in ECFE parent-child classes or facilitate groups with lessons provided
Work collaboratively with Early Childhood Team in providing high-quality programs in the districts assigned
Supporting families from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Qualifications:
Demonstrate a warm and welcoming rapport with children and parents
Have knowledge of child development and parenting
Communicate effectively and professionally
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and maintain confidentiality
Experience working with parents and children, ages birth to 5 years, is desired
Salary based on experience and education.
