ECFE/School Readiness Classroom Teacher and Program Team Member
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minnesota Early Childhood licensure
Additional licenses in Birth-3 and/or parent educator preferred
Knowledge, skills, abilities:

Ability to develop and maintain respect and rapport with coworkers, children and parents

Ability to work with young children, other staff, and parents in a team setting.

Experience developing and maintaining learning environments for children

Strong communication skills

Basic technology skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)

Be a strong leader/resource for staff

Work as an effective team member to accomplish program tasks and development.

Grant writing

Ability to seek seek community partnerships

Data reporting
Participate as a team member in:

Creating State Reports
-
Curriculum Development

Organizing Early Childhood Screening

Scholarship Distribution
-
Understanding Laws and Policies related to the State of MN and Triton’s ECFE/SR programs

Staff meetings
-
Effectively communicating with parents, staff and the Triton community
Expected Duties:
-
Classroom Instructor for ECFE and SR Programs
-
Develop, instruct and coordinate bi-weekly ECFE classes beyond the regular school day
-
Work with Elementary Principal and teachers to bridge students into a successful transition to Kindergarten
-
Attend Conference/Trainings needed to maintain an effective high-quality ECFE/SR Program
-
Create partnerships and communicate timely with related area organizations such as ZED, SEMCAC, and SMIF, and others.
Schedule: 40 hours a week, evening or weekend classes are part of the position.
