Student Support Services/Teacher | ECFE Teacher | Liberty Elementary


Job Summary:

Under the general direction of the Early Childhood Coordinator, the Parent Educator is responsible for planning, instructing and implementing learning experiences for parents and/or developmentally appropriate learning experience for children aages 0-5, that are consistent with the mission, goals, and objectives of the early childhood and familly education program.  These events are a combination of weekly classes, special events, and site visits.

Hours available: Up to 30 hours available in Big Lake Schools with the option to add 10 hours through a partnership with the neighboring Monticello School District.

Qualifications:  Requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.

  • Certified teaching certificate from the State of MN in Parent Education. OR
  • Willing to obtain an OFP (Out of Field Placement) OR
  • Willing to obtain a Tier 1, 2 or 3 License.
