ECFE Parent and Family Education Teacher

Windom Area Schools is seeking a Parent and Family Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
POSITION SUMMARY:

• Prepare and conduct ECFE classes for parents with the primary focus on Early Childhood to Kindergarten transition. Provide parenting education resources as needed.

OPEN POSITIONS/TIMES:

• There are 3 ECFE Program Sessions, which will run for about 25 weeks.
  • Fall: 10 Weeks – Approximately September 12th to November 21^st
    • Wednesday Morning – Starting approximately 10:00 a.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
  • Winter: 6 Weeks – Approximately January 6^th to February 13^th
    • Monday Evening – Starting approximately 6:15 p.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
    • Wednesday Morning – Starting approximately 10:00 a.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
    • Thursday Evening – Starting approximately 6:15 p.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
  • Spring: 9 Weeks – Approximately March 3^rd to May 8^th
    • Monday Evening – Starting approximately 6:15 p.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
    • Wednesday Morning – Starting approximately 10:00 a.m. for 1.5 hours per class.
    • Thursday Evening – Starting approximately 6:15 p.m. for 1.5 hours per class.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree required.
• Minnesota teaching license with the appropriate grade level and subject area certification required (or ability to obtain one).
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a job-related field.
